This 50sec ad shows a hot and uncomfortable New York City chilled by the effects of Coors Fine Lite Beer. Gary got involved in this at script stage and worked with Martin to design all the freeze and snow effects. A month in Vancouver working with local VFX engineers, Art Directors and location scouting led to an eight day shoot with second unit running 2x35mm cameras filming snow and ice plates in a studio and refrigeration truck. It was important that the VFX looked real and was decided to shoot real elements, with matching camera angles to the main action that could later be composited in Flame. The ad was then posted at HD on Flame running round the clock for 5 weeks.
